Worcester: Isaiah Thomas, 1810. 2 volume set. 8vo. vi, [7]-487; iv, [5]-576 pp. FIRST EDITION. Complete with five plates (two folding), portrait frontispiece of Thomas. Later half morocco over marbled boards, raised bands with gilt tooling, two compartments titled in gilt, remainder blind stamped, t.e.g., marbled endpapers (ex-Vermont State Library copies with library blind stamping to covers and titles, old inventory labels to lower compartments, and with attractive bookplate in each volume; interior hinges reinforced, scant foxing or offsetting to text and margins).
