Several of the items, including the 1859 sketch, cabinet card, and some of the accompanying ephemera, are annotated and signed in pencil by Cyril Nast (1879 - 1966), a son of Thomas Nast. The newspaper clippings, one from the West Chester Daily Local News, are profiles of Cyril detailing his career and the treasures inherited from his famous father.
