A group of ephemera related to the author from his estate, including: a xeroxed document for exclusive sale to Warner Bros. for The Killer Inside Me; a telecopy draft option agreement for rights to The Cellini Chalice; a copy of the last will and testament and estate tax return for the author?s wife Alberta Thompson; a certified birth certificate copy for the author?s daughter Patricia Thompson; a copy for the screenplay ?Savage Night? that based on the author?s novel (laid in with a letter from the agency to the author?s daughter); a copy of the second draft screenplay of ?The Getaway? based on the author?s novel; two copies of the tv series script ?Mackenzie?s Raiders 28B? written by Thompson; and other ephemeral material. Provenance: Purchased from the Estate of Brian Miller, son of Patricia Thompson Miller (daughter of Jim Thompson).
