Three British Pre-War Puzzle Sets.?London: R. Journet et al, 1920s ? 40s. Including a twelve-puzzle set in red-and-blue compartmentalized box; The Marspen Box of 6 Puzzles; and The Popular Compendium of Nickel Plated Puzzles. All in original boxes with interior compartments, apparently complete with instructions. Included are classic take-apart wire puzzles: The Two Nails Puzzle, The Two Keys Puzzle, The Three Links Puzzle, The Spring Puzle, The Curly Puzzle, The Maze Puzzle, and others. Several attractive cast items. Largest box 8 x 7 x 1". Rubbing to exteriors, but overall near fine condition.
