HOUDINI, Harry (Erik Weisz, 1874 - 1926). Three Photographs of Harry and Bess Houdini. 1916 - 21. Including two matte-finish images, one of Harry and Bess together, the other of Bess in a fur coat with muffler and hat, by Smith of St. Louis. The latter torn, and the former showing her crown-shaped Russian brooch on her blouse; on the verso of the album sheet to which these pictures are mounted is a larger black-and-white image of Houdini with his niece Marie Hinson. Tears, chips, and wear to the various images, and all three mounted to a small folio album page. The largest image 10 x 8", with an inked caption on the picture that says "Houdini Marie Hinson 1921." 12 1/2 x 9 1/2". Provenance: Collection of Beatrice Houdini, passed to the consignor by descent.
