Condition
On the front endleaves is a large folding hand-colored map of Asia (not issued with this title, in fine shape). Binding worn, soiled, text and plates and maps quite clean, a few interior chips to text. Fine. FIRST EDITION OF THIS UNCOMMON EXPLORATION OF TIBET AND THE HIMALAYAS. The purpose of this work was to explore the high peaks of Asia, the principal mountain ranges of Asia, the rivers of Tibet and the Himalayas, and their geology.
