Tramp Art Boxes with Mirrors, (2). 1899 and early 20th Century. Chip carved wood, glass, fabric, metal and varnish. 1899 box has 3 compartments and mirror under lid. Initials T. G. dated 1899 in decorative metal script, along with metal lion heads for drawer handles. Padded velvet on top is split and worn with stuffing flowing out. Surface dirt with minor wood loss. General look still very good for this box; Smaller mirror lid box has one removable compartment and sits inside this handsome example. Largest 8 x 13 ? x 8 ?".
