Approximately 264 x 418 mm, some wear, marginal creasing, foxing, worn crease near right margin with some tears (none affecting image). Full-page engraving from Charts and Plates to La P?rouse?s Voyage (London: G. G. and J. Robinson, 1798-1799). This engraving, by Heath, is dated Nov. 1st 1798. It depicts a group of natives of the Baie of Castries inside a large hut enjoying a brisk fire. The Robinson edition of La P?rouse?s ill-fated voyage is commonly considered to be the best available edition..
