Trunk Filled with Vintage Magic Apparatus. 1940s - 90s. A large metal-bound trunk of magic tricks, tables, and apparatus gathered by Jack White, a spook show magician (and later, a prominent television broadcaster) based in San Diego, California. Included in the trunk are effects from well-known makers from the 1940s and 50s, along with a large quantity of more modern tricks, booklets, and pocket effects including Thumb tips, Cups and Balls sets, and more. Included are an Abbott-made Artistic Side Table, Merv Taylor Por-Mor, P&L Phantom Tube (in custom wooden case), a wooden Nest of Boxes, and other parlor effects. Items in good used condition, though not all apparatus checked for completeness. Outside dimensions 38 x 22 x 23". Hasp of trunk detached, but presents well with usual wear. Due to size and weight, in-person pickup or third party shipping required.
