Later half red levant, raised bands, gilt titling and filets in compartments, top edge gilt, marbled endpapers, stamp?signed by Birdsall (joints and tips rubbed, some minor separation to front joints near ends, upper corner dampstained and also affecting corner margins of text and plates). Provenance: Colonel H. H. Shri Sir Ranjitsinhki Vibhaji II, Jam Saheb of Nawanagar 1872?1933 (bookplates and dated signature).
