Uncle Sam Mechanical Cast Iron Bank. 1880s. Patriotic bank depicts Uncle Sam standing on a platform embossed with an eagle and the words ?BANK? on both sides. Lever causes the satchel to open and coin in right hand to drop in, and Uncle Sam?s goatee wobbles as if in laughter. Height 11?. Mostly original paint, retouching to backside of jacket.
