[UNDERGROUND COMIX]. American Splendor, Issues #1-4. [Cleveland Heights: Harvey Pekar, 1976-1979]. Four issues. Staple-bound wrappers. FIRST EDITIONS, FIRST PRINTINGS. Harvey Pekar's landmark autobiographical underground comic series was published by Pekar (except for the final few issues). This influential series had several illustrators, including R. Crumb, Brian Bram, Greg Budgett, and more. It has been adapted to various stage and film adaptations.
Condition
Some mild rubbing, creasing, soiling to wrappers, text lightly toned. Generally mid-range condition.
