ARTIST UNKNOWN (American, 20th century). Untitled Narrative Surrealism. [Ca. 1960s]. Oil on burlap laid and stretched over ?? plywood. 24 x 40". Unframed. Provenance: Derek Joshua Beard. Beard was a private collector, art dealer (and artist) specializing in African American fine and decorative arts. Light surface dirt. Left edge of plywood has minor splitting. Staples on left rusted. Some minor burlap loss at sides and edges. Very good condition.
