Vanishing Birdcage. Chicago: National Magic Co., 1940s. Nickel-plated brass cage held between the magician?s outstretched hands vanishes visibly on command. Semi-rigid model of unusual design with hookup inside the cage and scalloped sides. 7 x 5 x 4 ??. Includes original cloth-lined wooden case with National Magic label inside lid. One wire bar loose, else very good. The first example we have encountered.
