Vanishing Lamp. Sweden: Harries Magic, ca. 1950s. Nickel-plated lamp with orange cloth shade, which is removed from a table and remains visibly lit underneath a foulard, which is thrown into the air and flutters to the stage completely flat. Stamped on the underside by the manufacturer.
