Vanishing/Reappearing Millet Vase. Lake Forest: John McKinven, ca. 1995. Finely turned maple vase from which a handful of millet or dry rice vanishes, only to reappear on command. Two spring-loaded internal gimmicks. A tall example; height 10 ?". Hallmarked. The only such device made by McKinven we have encountered.
