VERNON, Dai (David Verner, 1894 ? 1992). Family Silhouette by Dai Vernon. 1929. Finely cut silhouettes by the great sleight-of-hand artist of an entire family: three children and their parents, all mounted to a stiff white card. 6 ? x 5", with the sides somewhat unevenly trimmed. SIGNED and dated by Vernon in the lower right. The first Vernon silhouette we have encountered with more than two persons.
