Fair. FIRST ENGLISH EDITION WITH THESE ILLUSTRATIONS, ONE OF 440 COPIES PRINTED. This version was published 10 years after the Paris first edition, but the English version has 20 more illustrations. This picaresque novel is about Pablo de Segovia, a n'er do-well and con artist, who wants to reform in order to become a gentleman, and fails miserably at this task. From the Collection of Louis A.
