Boards worn, soiled, scuffed, map toned and creased, text toned with occasional thumbsoiling, foxing, a few pencil markings. Fine. FIRST EDITION OF FRASER'S TRAVELS THROUGH PERSIA. Fraser was part of a mission led by Sir Andrew Jukes. Juke died along the way, and afterwards, Fraser set out toward Bokhara and explored Khorasan.
