Walt Disney Alice in Wonderland Marionette. Peter Puppet Playthings Inc., ca. 1950s. Alice features molded blonde hair, hand-painted blue eyes, and a working mouth. Alice is clad in a blue dress and white apron over wooden legs painted with white stockings and black shoes. A solid piece of composite board acts as a crossbar and holds the black puppeteer strings. Alice is presented in the original yellow packaging with depictions of Alice, The March Hare, and The Mad Hatter to the front. Length 14?. Minor scuffs to painted wooden feet; few white paint stains to dress. Box has significant tears and wear to extremities; overall intact and complete. The marionette is in very good condition.
