Webster (Edward William Wells). Webster?s Book of Mystery Original Printing Plates and Artwork. 8 pcs. Circa 1927. Heavy zinc and copper intaglio plates incised with front and rear cover art for Webster?s pitchbook Book of Mystery accompanied by original pen and ink on cardstock. The book was pitched in the lobby after his show incentivizing that if one bought the book, Webster would answer one?s questions. The book (22 pp., [4 ads], 8vo) contained astrological horoscopes, psychology, telepathy, crystal gazing, and dream interpretations. Included is a copy of the pitchbook and three proof prints. Blocks measure 9 x 6?, cards measure 19 x 13?. Oxidation to margins, large closed tear to front cover artwork. Good.
