Wells Fargo & Co. Express call card sign. [N.p., ca. 1890s-1910s]. Central portion of a Wells Fargo call card (when a merchant would display this sign, it signaled the Wells Fargo driver to stop for a pick-up; it appears that this portion of the sign was excised from the original red diamond background, which was replaced with a later reproduction. Approximately 7? in diameter. Sign heavily worn, chipped, soiled. Framed and glazed (frame size: 8 ? x 8 ??). Originally from the Jacobitz Collection.
