Will & Finck Carved Faro Case-Keeper. San Francisco, ca. 1890s. Finely carved, detailed, and heavy case-keeper with hardwood frame and boxwood faces in the suit of clubs, with hand-painting. Star symbol and Will & Finck mark. Size (open) 12 ? x 13?. Thin piece of inlay chipped away beside Ace panel, otherwise a fine antique example. An exceptional and rare example from the manufacturer?s top line of merchandise.
