WILMER, John Riley (British, 1883-1941). Original Signed Watercolor. [N.p., ca. 1920s]. Watercolor on paper, signed at lower right by Wilmer. Image depicts a colorful hooded figure with staff, sneering at a hand emerging from a hole in the ground (this image is possibly from a version of Aladdin). Sight approximately 5 ? x 3 ?". Mounted and framed under plexiglass. Frame size approximately 9 x 7". Fine. Wilmer was a well-known painter, who was known for his colorful and romantic imagery. Not examined out of frame. From the Collection of Louis A. Irmo.
