WIRSUM, Karl (American, 1939-2021). A Two Panel Exhibition Banner for, ?Diamonds Are Forever / Artists and Writers on Baseball?, at the Chicago Cultural Center. [Ca. 1989]. A two-panel double-sided screenprint on canvas. Approximately 97 x 30 ?? each. When put together they create a total visual work 97 x 61?. It is well known in the Chicago art world that Karl Wirsum was a big fan of baseball. He has done multiple works addressing the subject, the most well-known being Baseball Girl, 1964, once owned by Ruth Horwich. Some minor wear and marks.
