[WORLD WAR I]. Collection of 17 British war propaganda posters. V.p., ca. 1914-18. Seventeen lithograph posters for Queen Mary's Army Auxiliary Corps, the Italian Red Cross/Italy Day, an exhibition of artwork by British POWs, the YMCA, satires and anti-German propaganda, enlistment, and encouraging thrift, among others. Sizes generally 28 x 20". Paper; majority are adhered in left margin to strips of hole-punched paper. Condition generally B+/B (some closed tears into images; light chipping and creasing at edges, but overall well kept). A nice collection of uncommon posters. Additional images available on request.
