[WORLD WAR II]. [TEXTILES]. Two Children?s Propaganda Kimonos / Omoshirogara. 1940s. Cotton / linen fabric. Two Japanese war propaganda kimonos depicting military airplanes, parachutes, and a rectangle motif. One is lightweight and child-sized with a green lining. The other is larger, for a child or adult, with thick quilted fabric. Larger length 37?; p2p 19? Smaller length 27.5?; p2p 12?. Minor areas of soiling. Both are structurally very good; fabric is vibrant and stable.
