Wrist Guillotine. North Hollywood: Merv Taylor, 1950s. Handsome polished metal chopper with wooden base and handle; a victim?s wrist placed in the large opening is cut through without harm, yet the object in the smaller opening is cut cleanly in two. With a custom hardwood carrying case bearing a brass plaque with the logo of the former owner, Alton Sharpe, a noted nightclub magician. Hallmarked. Near fine condition; among the finest examples of this prop we have encountered.
