Contains a combination of military aerial photographs, photographic maps and charts, a series of (photo-print copies of) illustrations of military equipment and weapons, reconnaissance mission photographs, images of everyday life in Italian cities and countryside, Italian tourist sites such as Pompeii, the Roman Colosseum, and Venice canals, the 1944 eruption of Mount Vesuvius, American soldiers sightseeing in Italy, photomontages of tourist sites and military targets, trains, military entertainers, and more.
