Group of WWII-era black-and-white aviation photographs, including U.S. Army Air Forces bomber crews posed before aircraft, B-17 and other bomber views in flight, formation and contrail images, aircraft on the ground, nose art, mission markings, engine and turret details. Several images are credited or inscribed to S/Sgt. Paul Litvinoff, a WWII photographer who saw theater service and later taught aerial photography from bombers at Lowry Field, Denver, Colorado; some versos identify images as taken at Lowry Field in March 1945. Includes several strong large-format aviation compositions, with period notations and photographer credit stamps/inscriptions on backs. Overall, a visually strong WWII aviation group.
