YOSHIHARU, Utagawa (1828?1888). Acrobats Beneath Cherry Trees: Spinning Tops and Balancing. Japan, ca. 1857. Woodblock print on paper laid down on thin paper. Faded, surface dirt, abrasions, loss to bottom right corner, and holes in areas. Good. Another example of the print is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Dawes label to verso. 13 7/8 x 9 5/8".
