Young American Color Set with Young Artist Stencil Assortment. United States, early to mid-20th century. Six sets altogether, all with original boxes. Includes:

Young American Color Set. Salem: Parker Brothers, ca. early 20th century. Almost complete, used set. Includes original watercolor pans, water bowls, crayons (incomplete), pencil, ruler, and paintbrush, as well as several uncolored original templates and some colored examples from the previous owner. 

Along with: 

  • Drawing Made Easy for the Kindergarten (2 versions). McLoughlin, ca. 1897 + Unknown Publisher. 
  • Drawing Stencils for our Little Artist. (Unknown Publisher)
  • The New American Stencils for Children. (Parker Brothers)
  • Magic Dots for Little Tots. (Milton Bradley)

Condition

Moderate wear to all with tears and losses to box edges, and overall wear with markings from previous owners.
