Five large loose lithographs after Biggers laid-into publisher's grey cloth portfolio, large blank leaf laid-in. black morocco label lettered in silver on front board. Loose limitation leaf laid-in. SIGNED BY ANGELOU AND BIGGERS ON THE LIMITATION LEAF OF THIS SCARCE (POSSIBLY UNIQUE) PORTFOLIO, WITH AN UNNUMBERED LIMITATION LEAF.

This unusual (possibly unique) portfolio contains only the illustrations used for the deluxe edition published by The Limited Editions Club in 1994. The signed limitation leaf seems to be an out-of-series leaf from The Limited Editions Club edition. It is possible that this portfolio is a one-off deluxe copy of this lithograph collection. The lithographs are approximately 30 x 22". The limitation leaf is approximately 22 x 17 1/2". The lithographs are larger than their counterparts in The Limited Editions Club edition (which are roughly the same size as the limitation leaf). 

Condition

Blank leaf lightly creased at left margin. Fine.
