[AUTOGRAPHS] Tom Mullica's Tom Foolery Autograph Book. 1970s - 80s. A large ledger-type book bound in black textured boards owned and used by Tom Mullica as the autograph album at his famous Atlanta magic bar, the Tom Foolery, for eight years. The pages are filled with the signatures and inscriptions of the world's great magicians, including many of Mullica's closest friends.

Included are the autographs of: Karrell Fox, Jim Ryan, Bob Carver, Max Maven, Mark Wilson, Harry Lorayne, Gordon Miller, Recil Bordner, Mike Caveney, Al Goshman, Irv Weiner, Neil Foster, Daryl, Tim Conover, Slydini, Derek Dingle, Don Alan, Tommy Wonder (as Jos Bema), David Solomon, Simon Aronson, Jay Marshall, Chuck Norris, Red Skelton, and dozens and dozens more. 

Many of these signatures were inked during annual "bash" conventions held at the Tom Foolery, as the inscriptions state, and all of them are laudatory in the extreme ("You are the best." "The best magic theatre in the world." "The greatest - bar none." "All I expected - and much much more."). Mullica developed a reputation as one of the funniest magicians of his generation and also as a talented sleight-of-hand artist. David Copperfield's autograph sums up the sentiment of virtually every other magician whose signature fills the book: "To Tom, the best close up show I've ever seen." A singular record and collection of written tributes to a singular performer.
