Illustrated manuscript for Bold Turpin: A Romance Sung by Sam Weller, featuring 18 pen and ink drawings plus 4 watercolors featuring the English highwayman, Dick Turpin, riding his steed, Black Bess, as they rob unsuspecting stagecoaches. Finely bound in quarter blue crushed morocco over marbled boards with a blue morocco label titled in gilt on front board, 6 compartments four times fileted in gilt with raised bands. 12mo. Minor dust soiling to spine, a light scattering of foxing concentrated to the first few pages, some finger smudges; illustrations bold.
