BURKE, Billie (1884-1970) and ASTOR, Mary (1906-1987). Pair of photos with stamped signatures. [N.p., ca. 20th century]. Black and white photos of these legendary actresses as young women, each stamp-signed. Sight sizes approximately 4 3/4 x 3" and 6 1/2 x 4 1/2". Both framed under glass.
Burke's most famous role is Glinda in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Astor had a lengthy career, but is most famous for Brigid O'Shaugnessy in The Maltese Falcon (1941), opposite Humphrey Bogart.
Condition
Light toning, else fine. Neither photo examined out of frame.
