[CARD MAGIC]. Collection of Gimmicked Cards, Decks, and Card Magic Effects. 1890s ? 1960s. A large group of prepared, specially printed, and otherwise gimmicked decks or cards for various close-up and stage tricks, including a set of Diminishing Cards by Hamley's in the original box, a pack of Nile Fortune Telling Cards with pocket index and duplicates for reproduction, various marked packs by DeLand (issued by S.S. Adams), a mechanical card rising pack (not operable), a small group of Ralph W. Hull trick decks and matching cards issued by John Snyder (ex-Trevor Hall collection, who described Hull's tricks in his Testament), jumbo cards by Conradi, two gimmicked card cases (one a Vanishing Pack, the other a card switching case), number cards, vintage Steamboat and other packs, a quantity of loose cards and packet tricks, and more. Many from the collection of De Vega. Most in very good condition, some packs with original boxes. A very good collection.
