Chink-a-Chink. London: Ken Brooke, 1940s. Four tapered wooden blocks visibly jump around the table when covered by the magician's hands. Based on the Malini effect with sugar cubes, but this modern crafted from turned wood with wooden shell. Diameter of each block at base 1 ?. Shell a snug fit, allowing for a pseudo-?locking" feature at the conclusion of the routine. Identified by a small slip in Eddie Dawes' hand. RARE.
