A very good copy in a fair jacket. FIRST EDITION OF CHANDLER'S FAVORITE OF HIS BOOKS, THE SIXTH PHILIP MARLOWE NOVEL. This book is somewhat autobiographical as there are elements from his life ? his wife dying, his alcoholism and his insecurities. Offered with the Thriller Book Club edition of this title (in jacket, some wear, very good).
