Chinese Torture Illusion. Hamburg: Willmann [?], ca. 1920. Wooden stocks in which a spectator is locked. Three spikes are driven through the stand and through the wrists and neck of the volunteer without harm. With gimmicked and ungimmicked spikes in holder. Clever internal mechanism. Height 57?. Repainted, and lacking one shim (easily replaced). Very good.
