Cigar Store Indian from the Wisconsin Dells. Warrior in Braids, with Knife on Wooden Stump and Base. Chainsaw carved and hand-painted figure standing on a small stump and wooden base. Knife added to figure's hand (wooden knife seems recent). Recent repaint. Some wear, several cracks, some soiling. Very good. An unusual figure. This figure was part of a collection of similar figures that were displayed outside one of Wisconsin Dells' most popular souvenir shops, The Uptown Trading Post, and were displayed in front of this store for many years.
