Collection of Escape and Illusion Blueprints and Secrets. 1900s - 1920s. Over 20 small blueprints with explanatory text sheets, most issued by L.E. Robinson of Boston, Massachusetts, who billed himself as a "manufacturing magician." Includes plans for a Brooks Trunk, Russian Torture Board, Levilo Packing Case, Water Barrel Escape, handkerchief tricks, and more. With a few sets published by Gerald Heaney. Instructions 11 x 8 1/2", with blueprints the same size or smaller. Some with marginalia. A neatly-kept collection and the first group issued by Robinson we have encountered.
