Set of three brass cups of a traditional tapered design, for the ?oldest trick in the book,? together with five small cork balls and a brown carrying bag with drawstring tie. Sold together with a handsomely made wooden wand with turned ebony and bone tips (one lacking) and striped with gilt and black paint. Cup height 3 ??, mouth diameter 2 ??; wand length 13 ??. Owned and used by British society entertainer Stanley Collins, and passed to Edwin Dawes by Collins? widow, Margaret.
