Small toleware tin box with two hinged lids concealing eight internal compartments with gimmicked English pennies of varying types, including a Coin Through Hat, Diminishing Coin, Hook Coin, Double-Headed and Double-Tailed coins, and more. (Coins were manufactured later.) Length 2 ?". Near fine finish with only minor rubbing; remarkably well-preserved, and SCARCE. In essence, a miniature magic set filled with gimmicked coins.
