Substantial soiling and wear; tears, holes, spotting, some damp stains. Loose joints. Some loose sheaves. Ownership markings. Fair. Heavily used. Sold as-is.

A home-made recipe book from Roanoke, Virginia, containing newspaper recipes pasted over each page of the 1868 Annual Report of the Commissioner of Patents. Clippings seem to be largely taken from the Philadelphia Home Weekly and The Dollar Newspaper with identifiable dates from 1861 and 1862. Includes a hand-written Table of Contents and hand-numbered pages.
