[DANCE]. [AFRICAN-AMERICANA]. THE NICHOLAS BROTHERS. (Harold and Fayard).  Signed Still for "The Big Broadcast of 1935." Paramount Pictures, 1935. Black and white still featuring the Nicholas Brothers from the film "The Big Broadcast of 1936" (the film was released with "1936" in the title, but the still is captioned "1935.") Approximately 10 x 8". With printed description on verso. Signed "The Nicholas Brothers" and "Harold & Fayard Nicholas". 

The Nicholas Brothers were legendary dancers - their dance number ("Jumpin Jive")  at the end of the classic film, Stormy Weather (1943), is generally considered to be one of the best dance numbers captured on film (Fred Astaire himself said that it was the greatest film musical number he had ever witnessed). 

Condition

Toned, rubbed, lightly soiled. Very good.
