Ron Ormond (1910-1981) was a showman and grindhouse horror filmmaker. He made low budget westerns and horror films, as well as stage shows featuring magicians, monsters, and bathing beauties. In 1968, he became a born-again Christian after surviving a plane crash, and devoted the rest of his career to making religious content.
