Approximately 300 items related to the life and career of this famous British magician who made a name for himself with an eponymous television programme, and including theatre programmes, handbills, and related performance ephemera; greeting cards; photographs; promotional brochures; and hundreds of newspaper and magazine clippings (and frequently complete magazines) with publicity stories or news features related to Daniels, his show, and his family. Also included are several paperback books of tricks featuring the Wizbit character, approximately 12 scripts from his long running BBC TV show presented to Dr. Dawes by the producer, John Fisher, and a trove of ephemera related to Daniels work with the Yorkshire Cancer Research Campaign team headed by Dr. Edwin Dawes. A very large archive of material, well-kept, and chronicling nearly the entire public career of this famous and well-liked magician.
