FAUST, Tony (1836-1906). Tiger Oak Coin Bank. Circa 1910s. Wooden coin bank with metal plaque displaying 1-cent to 1-dollar coins. Insert a coin in the designated slot and it goes into the base of the box. Advertising Tony Faust Saloon at 4th and Elm Street, St. Louis. Hand-painted in gilt. No keys. Coins inside bank. 15 x 10 x 11 ??. Chipping to wood on recto near coin entrance. Metal appendages showing discoloring.
