FAUST, Tony (1836-1906). Faust?s Own Stein. St. Louis: Circa 1880s. Porcelain beer stein with German blue onion design, commissioned by Tony Faust?s Oyster House with Anheuser Brewing Company. Lithophane lid. Fired on enamel logo on recto with internal lithophane depicting a couple on bottom. Originally served with Faust Lager Beer. 7 x 4?. Light rusting to metal inlay.
